Why should we expect opposition when working
for God?
......................................................................................................
Deacon A. E. Forbes writes .....
Spiritually, to be a good leader, one must be saved, and have
the Holy Spirit
(the keeper) having the fear of God in his or her life, have
compassion, mercy, just, honest, humble, meek, compassion, kind,
one to another, affectionate, good character, rule well in his
or her home, temperate longsuffering, and above all must Love
the Lord,. When you accomplish these requirements, I believe
you can ask the Lord for anything you want, like Nehemiah's prayer,
and Gods answer.... like Jehohaphats prayer and Gods answer

Evangelist Deborah A. Brown writes .......
A good leader is one who first and foremost has a personal
walk with God (filled with the Holy Ghost). In addition, he/she
should be one who loves people and, like King Solomon, desires
an “understanding heart” in order to be able to
go “in and out” among God’s people. He/she
needs to have a vision and lead by precept and example. He/she
also needs to be intellectually equipped to handle tasks. Lastly,
as the old adage goes, a leader is one who knows the way, goes
the way, and shows the way.
